Share |

In September, we told you about Northwords, the amazing new documentary narrated by activist and beloved CBC Radio host Shelagh Rogers. This week is your chance to see the film in Toronto at the Bell TIFF Lightbox on Thursday, October 11, 2012! The stunning vistas of Labrador's Torngat Mountains National Park will take your breath away, and the insightful commentary and reflections from the writers accompanying Shelagh — Alissa York, Rabindranath Maharaj, Noah Richler, Sarah Leavitt and Joseph Boyden — will have you longing to experience the north yourself.

Open Book is proud to be a co-presenter for this film by director Geoff Morrison as part of the 13th annual Planet in Focus Environmental Film Festival.
