Allan Stratton is the author of several books, including the award-winning, bestselling novel, Chanda’s Secrets (Annick Press, 2004). Set in the midst of the African HIV/AIDS pandemic, Chanda’s Secrets is about a 16-year-old girl who "must confront the undercurrents of shame and stigma associated with HIV/AIDS." This year, Annick Press optioned feature film rights of the novel to Dilemma Productions and Dreamer Joint Venture Productions.
