LATE FRAGMENT is an interactive film that lets audiences piece together, both literally and figuratively, the cinematic narrative in front of them. Three strangers, Faye, Kevin and Théo, participate in a program where victims and offenders share their stories. Emotionally broken from the violence they have experienced, each turns to the restorative justice process in hopes of finding some measure of wholeness. Three story lines interconnect, and this unique cinematic experience allows the viewer to play a creative and interactive role by weaving in and out of the film's story lines - whenever they choose – by clicking the remote. Shot in Toronto, Late Fragment was designed for a DVD platform and presented as a live VeeJay'd performance theatrically. It is like many of the non-linear movies we have come to love, including Crash, Short Cuts, and Amores Perros. But with Late Fragment audiences now impact what scene they may get next.
"There are 380 available 'clicks,' allowing for billions of story trajectories." - Globe & Mail
