Scotiabank Giller Prize Shortlist Announced

On October 7, the Scotiabank Giller Prize announced its 2008 shortlist. Margaret Atwood, Bob Rae and Colm Toibin were on this year’s jury. The five finalists were selected from 95 books that were submitted by publishers from across the country. The finalists will read at the International Festival of Authors on Saturday, November 1.
