It's that time of year again! Prize season has descended on Canadian books and publishing with the announcements of the Scotiabank Giller Prize and ReLit Award longlists!
So Open Book wants to know — which of the many fall book awards fascinates you the most? Are you waiting with baited breath for the winners of the Governor General's varied and inclusive stable of prizes? Or perhaps you can't wait for the announcement of The Journey Prize, which has feted so many CanLit greats early in their careers? Or maybe you like the true stuff best and are counting down the days until you know the victor for the one year-old heavy hitter that is the Weston Writers' Trust Nonfiction Prize?
