Diaspora Dialogues at Luminato: Art as Safe Ground?

On June 18, Diaspora Dialogues will present a conversation with filmmaker Deepa Mehta, writer and publisher Anna Porter and playwright Judith Thompson, discussing the question of whether storytelling offers a safe place in which to tackle challenging and controversial subjects.
Steve Paikin, host of TVO's The Agenda, will moderate this second event in Diaspora Dialogue's new arts and ideas series, Deeper Dialogues, as part of the Luminato festival. For details about the event, please see our listing here.
