Matt Duggan at ALOUD Festival

Matt Duggan will be reading from The Royal Woods at the ALOUD Festival at Harbourfront Centre, in the Brigintine Room on Thursday, February 14 at 10:30 a.m. Click here for ticket info.

Matt Duggan is from Alberta and grew up there and in Manitoba. He has taught high school in Bhutan and Canada, and has written extensively, including several award-winning screenplays, as well as short stories and articles that have appeared in such publications as Prairie Fire and Saturday Night magazine. He writes and teaches in Toronto, where he lives with his wife and two children. The Royal Woods was written for the amusement of his daughter, Mary June, and he is currently working on a novel for adults that she will not be allowed to read.
