Launch for Broad Is the Way: Stories from Mayerthorpe by Margaret Norquay

Please join Margaret Norquay and family to celebrate the publication of Broad Is the Way: Stories from Mayerthorpe.

Part of the Life Writing Series from Wilfrid Laurier University Press, this book a collection of stories from Margaret and Jim Norquay's seven years in Mayerthorpe, Alberta in the early 1950s. Told with affection and gentle humour, the stories cover the challenges, heartaches, and delights of a young community and a minister and his wife in a very new marriage.

The book launch will take place at Metropolitan United Church on Sunday May 4 from 12:30 to 2:00 pm. In the dining room, Metropolitan United Church (which is at the corner of Queen and Church Streets in downtown Toronto.)
