Kathy Kacer at Harbourfront Centre for Ashkenaz Festival

Kathy Kacer will be reading from her latest book, The Diary of Laura’s Twin, as part of the Ashkenaz Festival, a celebration of Yiddish and Jewish life and culture, at Harbourfront Centre in the Brigintine Room. Monday, September 1 at 2:30 p.m.

Kathy Kacer has won many awards for her writing, including the Silver Birch, the Red Maple, the Hackmatack and the Jewish Book Award. In 1999 she wrote her first book in Second Story’s Holocaust Remembrance Series for Young Readers, The Secret of Gabi’s Dresser.
