Marjorie Harris is one of Canada's best known garden writers. Join Marjorie and friends as we celebrate her new book Thrifty: Living the Frugal Life with Style with a night of exuberant Italian cuisine and frivolity at Grano Restaurant. Proceeds from this evening will support the Toronto Botanical Garden's 2010 Italian Kitchen Garden.

ABOUT:

Marjorie Harris is considered one of Canada's leading garden writers. She has a garden column in The Globe & Mail, gives speeches all over Canada, and was Editor-in-Chief of Gardening Life magazine. Born in Shaunovon, Saskatchewan back in the mists of time, she was educated from Goose Bay Labrador to Vancouver B. C., and graduated in Honours English from McMaster University.
