Launch for Mark Kingwell, Joshua Glenn & Seth's The Idler's Glossary
Biblioasis and Pages' This Is Not A Reading Series are gathering together the first annual meeting of the Royal Order of the Indolent to launch Mark Kingwell's, Joshua Glenn's and Seth's The Idler's Glossary. Kingwell will share the stage with his co-creators Glenn and Seth, who plan to sit and watch him work.
Mark Kingwell is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Toronto and a contributing editor of Harper's Magazine. Among his 12 books of political and cultural theory are the national bestsellers The World We Want (2000) and Concrete Reveries (2008).
Joshua Glenn is a regular contributor to The Idler, The London Observer and The Boston Globe's Ideas Section and is the former editor of Hermenant, an intellectual zine.
Seth is the Guelph-based cartoonist behind It's a Good Life If You Don't Weaken and others, the designer of The Complete Peanuts, and his work has appeared inside and on the cover of the New Yorker.
