*Hamilton's Telling Tales: A Family Festival of Stories*
**OUT OF TOWN EVENT**
Telling Tales: A Family Festival of Stories, featuring over 30 Canadian children’s authors including Dennis Lee, illustrators, musicians, and speakers, takes place from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., at Westfield Heritage Village in the Hamilton area.
About Telling Tales:
The village will be alive with authors, illustrators, musicians, and storytellers. Other presentation features include workshops on the art of illustrating and writing historic novels; talks by noted experts on the latest trends in literacy, how to find an agent and get your book published, and more. Weaving their way past the Victorian Bandstand, the train station, the one-room school house, the church, and many other performance spaces, volunteers dressed up as historic literary figures will point festival guests to their chosen events.
Noted Hamilton bookstore Bryan Prince, Bookseller Ltd., will set up an on site bookstore/autographing area where everyone can meet and chat with their favourite authors, illustrators, and musicians. Presenters will be on hand to autograph copies of their books and CDs.
