This Ain't the Rosedale Library presents a listening party featuring Leacock winner, Mark Leiren-Young as well as Michael Wex, and Laurie Channer.

MARK LEIREN-YOUNG is the 2009 Winner of The Stephen Leacock Memorial Medal for Humour for his book "Never Shoot a Stampede Queen: A Rookie Reporter in the Cariboo."

MICHAEL WEX is the author of "Born to Kvetch: Yiddish Language and Culture in All of Its Moods" and "Just Say Nu: Yiddish for Every Occasion (When English Just Won't Do)." He will be appearing at Carnegie Hall with Alan Alda, Arlo Guthrie, David Amram and others in a birthday tribute to Theodore Bikel before flying back to Toronto to be part of this Kensington Market literary event.

LAURIE CHANNER is the author of "Godblog." She currently resides in Toronto with a knife collection, a load of skull and skeleton decor and the minimum number of cats required to be an author.

This event runs from 8-11 pm.
