The Royal Alexandra Portfolio by Edward Burtynsky was commissioned by David Mirvish to mark the theatre’s 100th anniversary in 2007. The photographs are included in The Royal Alexandra Theatre: A Celebration of 100 Years by Robert Brockhouse (McArthur & Company), and will be editioned strictly limited to photographs and portfolios ordered before May 31, 2008. Curated by Eleanor Johnston.

RM Vaughan (Troubled, Coach House Books), Emma Donoghue (The Sealed Letter, HarperCollins Canada) and John Miller (A Sharp Intake of Breath, Simon & Pierre) are reading at Gallery on the Bay (231 Bay Street North) in Hamilton for Hamilton Pride 2008. The readings are on on June 9 from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. Admission $5.
