Writing Workshop with Catherine Graham

Catherine Graham's third collection of poetry The Red Element will be published by Insomniac Press in 2008. She is the author of Pupa (Insomniac Press, 2003) and The Watch (Abbey Press, 1998). The Royal Alexandra Portfolio by Edward Burtynsky was commissioned by David Mirvish to mark the theatre’s 100th anniversary in 2007. The photographs are included in The Royal Alexandra Theatre: A Celebration of 100 Years by Robert Brockhouse (McArthur & Company), and will be editioned strictly limited to photographs and portfolios ordered before May 31, 2008. Curated by Eleanor Johnston.

gritLIT: Hamilton's Literary Festival

Hamilton's annual gritLIT festival runs from April 3 to 6 at the Art Gallery of Hamilton and the Sky Dragon Centre. The festival's aim is "to make Hamilton, often thought of as a gritty city, a destination for book loving audiences as well as for authors from coast to coast."
